WeAreMO Sponsored a Statewide Day of Action on June 10, 2017, setting up stations throughout Missouri to collect signatures for the Citizens Referendum Petition against Right to Work. Your Business Agents and several members trained to collect signatures were out manning these stations, along with members and agents from other Building Trades making it successful statewide.
BAC ADC Director Brian Jennewein, Secretary-Treasurer John Hopkin and Local 1 Recording Secretary and Field Representative Mark Savage manned a station at the ADC Hall downtown St. Louis. Local 18 President and Field Representative Mike Weber, Local 1 Vice President and Field Representative Johnny Walker, Jr. and Local 18 President Tim Mueller manned a station at the Walgreens in Troy, Missouri. And also in Troy was Local 1 President and Field Representative Michael Fox, Sr., working with Laborers Local 110 member Aaron Hemmann, who secured a signature from a citizen passing by on his scooter.
