Bricklayers' Local 1 has an active job action on the Washington Apartments, located at 6678 Washington Avenue across from the Washington University Campus, for hiring a contractor paying substandard wages to perform its restoration work. These apartments are student apartments for those attending Washington University, positioned directly across from the campus.
