It is with great pride that we announce that the Tilesetters' Local 18 Apprenticeship Program has received the 2018 Gold Hire Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award from the United States Department of Labor.  This award honors training programs and companies that devote efforts to recruiting and employing Veterans.

Congratulations to Local 18 President Mike Weber, also a Veteran, and Stoyan Hristov, Local 18 Apprenticeship Coordinator and Instructor for their work.

The December 2018 Union Meeting dispenses with the regular orders of business in favor of a Member Christmas Party. In light of that, these members will receive their award pins at the January 2019 meeting.

The December 2018 Service Award recipients are:

Members with 25 Years of Service:  Paul Jahnsen, Chad Matschiner & Brian Zeuschel

Members with 40 Years of Service:  John Orlando and Thomas Therrell

In addition to posting about Current Projects our members are working on, we occasionally like to show off our Members on the jobsite.
