One of the benefits of being a Member of the ADC of Eastern Missouri is your free membership with the Midwest Coalition of Labor, and all the great benefits that come with it! 

The Officers and Members of Bricklayers' Local 1 have an active job action against the Beaumont Building (formerly the AT&T Building) located at Locust and Beaumont in Downtown St. Louis. The General Contractor on the project, Altman Charter, hired non-Signatory Contractor Harambee Tuckpointing to do work on this project. 

Our Bricklayers’ Local 1 Apprentices recently gave their time on a community outreach project at the St. Louis Fire Department, replacing damaged block walls on multiple floors of the training tower.

The Officers and Members of Bricklayers' Local 1 have an active job action against the Campbell House Museum addition being built on North 15th Street in Downtown St. Louis, for hiring a non-Signatory Contractor, Gergs Construction. This non-Signatory Contractor pays workers substandard wages and benefits.

Thanks to Local 1 Bricklayer Wasim Aziz for volunteering his time to assist us with this job action!

Officers and Members of Bricklayers' Local 1 have an active job action against the new Cedarhurst Assisted Living being built on Old Lemay Ferry Road at Church Road in Arnold, MO, for hiring a non-Signatory Contractor, Canyon Stone, from Kansas City.  This non-Signatory Contractor pays workers substandard wages and benefits on a project that has received tax incentives from the city of Arnold.

Thanks to Retired Local 18 Tilesetters Steve Hanlon and Richard Hanlon for volunteering their time to assist us with this job action!
