Considering the Coronavirus Pandemic, you may find yourself experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression. The IU offers a completely confidential service for these issues as well as others at no cost to the member or their family called the Member Assistance Program (MAP).

• We’ve waived member out-of-pockets costs or cost sharing for COVID-19
diagnostic testing and introduced zero co-pay telemedicine visits for the next 90 days,
helping to remove barriers to care.

• We’ve waived charges for home delivery of all prescription medications from CVS

The Officers and Members of Bricklayers Local 1 of Missouri have an active job action against The City Museum, located on Washington Avenue in Downtown St. Louis, for hiring The Wright Mason, a non-Signatory Contractor paying its workers substandard wages and benefits.   This non-Signatory Contractor was hired to repair and re-lay 30,000 brick parapet walls.

The last couple weeks kicked off our Spring Semester at the ADC Apprenticeship Training Center with Bricklayers Local 1 Apprentice Coordinator Dale Jennewein.

A few of the Bricklayers Local 1 Apprentices spent the day laying block for the base of a new athletics equipment shed at Eureka High School, whose campus was extensively damaged by back-to-back flooding. 

An opinion piece went live on Medium.com a few months ago outlining the many ways the poor and working class workers are being abused by the rich, i.e., the Waltons, the Bezoses, the Trumps. In it, she explains that job creation isn’t any more than a catchphrase and doesn’t mean anything to the average person. Many of the points made in this article are going to sound familiar, as they are similar talking points to the anti-RTW movement. It is worth the ten or so minutes it will take you to read.
