One of the benefits of being a Member of the ADC of Eastern Missouri is your free membership with the Midwest Coalition of Labor, and all the great benefits that come with it! 

At the Local 23MO Christmas Party held earlier in December, Improver Austen Arnold and Apprentice Dessiree (Annie) Harvey are pictured next to their class project, a fireplace they proudly built for the party.  

In observance of New Year's, there will be NO January 2020 Union Meetings for Bricklayers' Local 1 OR for Tilesetter's Local 18.

In November 2019, some of our Local 1 Apprentices assisted in building the load-bearing block piers for the new wheelchair-accessible house in progress for former Rock Hill Police Officer Mathew Crosby, who was shot and paralyzed in the line of duty.  These piers will hold up the deck from the second floor of the house and will be wrapped in stone at a later date. 

The BAC ADC of Eastern Missouri Joint Apprenticeship and Training School recently hosted a Scaffold Training for our Members.  We'd like to thank Ray Boehm and Goedecke for helping to put this training together.

We are the “Best Hands in the Business,” because of our world-class Apprenticeship & training programs. led by our amazing Apprentice Instructors Dale Jennewein, Steve Jahnsen and Stoyan Hristov.

Officers and Members of Tilesetters Local 18 of Missouri have an active job action against Planet Fitness, located at the corner of Chippewa and S. Kingshighway, for hiring American Flooring, an out-of-state non-Signatory Contractor, to do work on this location. 

Mike Weber, President and Business Agent for Tilesetters Local 18 of Missouri, spoke with the Lead Installer for this company who informed him he is working for $25/hr with no benefits and said the rest of the crew is paid $20/hr with no benefits.
