Build My Future Job Fair 04/20/22

Our Apprentice Coordinators and Instructors, along with some of our Business Agents and Apprentices, recently attended the Build My Future Job Fair held at the St. Charles Family Arena. During the event, they showcased our trades to over 1,000 high school seniors in the St. Louis area, and gave them the opportunity to try it out for themselves.

We'd like to give a hearty congratulations to Josh Rehme (Patrico Masonry) for winning First Place in the 3rd Year Apprentice category at the SkillsUSA Competition held in conjuction with the 2022 Bricklayer500 World Championships in Las Vegas earlier this week!

Recent Job Action by Bricklayers Local 1

Bricklayers Local 1 of Missouri recently took job action as a result of the General Contractor awarding a portion of bricklayers' work to Flooring Systems, a 1310 Carpenters Contractor, at the new Panera Bread location at 14646 Manchester Road in Ballwin.

Bricklayers Local 1 August Union Meeting

At the August 2021 Local 1 Union Meeting, the first held in the new ADC Hall in Fenton, Missouri, ADC Director Brian Jennewein and ADC Secretary-Treasurer John Hopkin presented Brothers Ed Morris and Joe Wille with their 40-year Service Pins.
